Campaign to use Arogya Setu app: Union Minister Tomar

Sheopur,26 May(HS): Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the whole world is worried about Coronavirus infection. But the countries which were ahead of us in all facilities, the outbreak of the epidemic was more in those countries. He said that by the grace of God, in the time to come, we will be able to get rid of this outbreak with the cooperation of all. But in this direction, the Arogya Setu app needs to be downloaded in mobile.
Tomar said that a campaign should be conducted in Sheopur district in this direction. So that this app can easily identify the infected person in the coming time. Union Minister Tomar said in the function held to honour Corona warriors at the Nishadraj Bhavan on Tuesday.
He said that most people are using the Arogya Setu app. Therefore, a campaign should be launched to use this app as a campaign in Sheopur district. Therefore, this app will help in indicating the coronavirus in increasing the movement after lockdown. Also, people using the app will stay safe from infection.
He said that when the coronavirus entered India, at that time there were 200 corona testing centres in the country. But now these have been increased to 12 thousand. Also, steps have been taken in the direction of PPE kits, masks, ventilators.
He said that the district administration is capable of stopping Corona under any circumstances today. He said that social distancing, wearing masks should be maintained. Also, the system of washing hands should be made effective by using a sanitizer. Which will prevent corona infection.
The Union Minister said that the administration and police have played an active role in controlling the coronavirus in Sheopur district. Along with this, there has also been the support of public representatives, social workers, journalists, voluntary organizations, he added.
District Collector Rakesh Kumar Srivastava informed that the situation has been brought under control with the cooperation of everyone in Sheopur district. He said that initially 04 cases were found positive in Hasanpur Haveli. After his treatment, he was sent back to his home. No corona positive case has been found for 35 days. After this, a positive case of Javadeswar was found. The situation is under control.
On this occasion, the Union Minister Tomar honoured the Corona warriors with a shawl, quince. Also, during the stay in Sheopur, he observed the actions taken towards the production of masks and fruits, vegetable prepared by self-help groups through MP De-Aajeevika Rural Mission near District Panchayat. He also released livelihood posters.
