Ranveer Singh’s career has reached a new milestone after the massive success of Dhurandhar. The film has not only become the biggest hit of his career but also marked a strong comeback after a few uneven years. With Dhurandhar, Ranveer’s cumulative box office collection has crossed ₹4,200 crore worldwide, putting him ahead of contemporaries and several senior stars.

Dhurandhar is Ranveer’s 17th film as a lead actor and his first to earn over ₹1,000 crore globally. The film’s success has cemented his position among the top six Bollywood stars to cross ₹4,000 crore at the box office, alongside the three Khans, Akshay Kumar, and Ranbir Kapoor. Notably, Ranveer’s ₹4,200 crore haul surpasses even veterans like Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgn, whose cumulative collections stand at ₹3,860 crore and ₹3,500 crore, respectively.

Analysts point out that Ranveer’s consistency sets him apart. Nine of his 17 films have entered the ₹100-crore club domestically, and 11 films achieved overall box office success. His hits include blockbusters like Dhurandhar, Padmaavat, and Bajirao Mastani, as well as sleeper hits such as Dil Dhadakne Do and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. This blend of commercial blockbusters and content-driven films has built his strong career trajectory.

The recent milestone also intensifies the comparison with Ranbir Kapoor. While Ranbir has earned ₹4,000 crore so far, thanks largely to the success of Animal, Ranveer now takes the lead. Experts note that Ranbir could reclaim the top spot with upcoming releases like Love and War and Ramayana. However, Ranveer has a chance to maintain his edge with Dhurandhar 2, which is expected to perform strongly at the box office. Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan trails both with ₹3,860 crore, showing how the younger stars are catching up.

Vicky Kaushal, another contemporary often compared with Ranveer and Ranbir, remains behind with ₹1,801 crore worldwide from 10 lead roles. Yet, his last four films – Chhaava, Bad Newz, Sam Bahadur, and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke – have all crossed ₹100 crore, signaling a promising upward trajectory.

Looking ahead, Ranveer aims to breach the ₹5,000-crore mark soon. Dhurandhar continues to add revenue, and Dhurandhar 2 is slated to deliver another blockbuster run. Following that, Pralay, a massy project, could further strengthen his box office credentials.

Despite the dominance of the three Khans and Akshay Kumar, who have earned over ₹7,000 crore each, Ranveer is carving his own path. Shah Rukh Khan remains at the top with nearly ₹9,000 crore worldwide. While reaching that level may take time, Ranveer’s current momentum gives him a genuine shot at joining the highest echelons of Bollywood box office success.

With Dhurandhar’s impact and upcoming projects, Ranveer Singh has not only reclaimed his superstar status but also proven that he can compete with the biggest names in the industry. His rise marks a new era of box office competition among young Bollywood actors.
