Abhishek Bachchan shuts down divorce rumours, makes bold statement about daughter Aaradhya
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, married for 17 years, have recently faced intense media scrutiny amid swirling divorce rumours. Their relationship has become a hot topic, especially after reports that Abhishek skipped wishing his daughter Aaradhya on her 13th birthday. In response to such speculations, Abhishek shared a personal and emotional statement about his daughter that quickly went viral.
Abhishek is set to release his upcoming film I Want to Talk on November 22, directed by Soojit Sircar. The film follows Arjun, a disabled man who overcomes life’s challenges, played by Abhishek himself. During a media interaction, Abhishek recalled a special moment with Aaradhya from her early childhood. While reading a children’s book, he came across a sentence about courage and discovered that the word “help” stood out to him as the bravest word.
Abhishek explained, “It means you are not ready to give up. I will do whatever it takes to carry on.” He connected this idea to his role as Arjun, saying that his character is not afraid to ask for help and never gives up. Abhishek shared how playing Arjun has inspired him. Despite dealing with challenges for over three decades, Arjun remains resilient. Abhishek remarked, “It’s easy to give up, but the fact that he’s still at it makes him truly courageous.”
This heartwarming message from Abhishek comes at a time when he is navigating media reports about his personal life. As I Want to Talk nears its release, the actor’s strength and resilience, both on and off the screen, are evident. The film, which explores themes of hope and resilience, also stars Johnny Lever and Ahilya Bamroo, and is set to be released by Rising Sun Films.
