Santosh Rastogi to stay as NIA IG until 2027
The government extended Santosh Rastogi’s deputation as Inspector General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for two years . His current deputation period ends on August 5, 2025. A 1998-batch IPS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, Rastogi continues to serve in this key role, focusing on national security and counter-terrorism efforts.
