DDC set deadline of 30th June for completing the construction work of all the bunkers
Poonch, June 10 (HS): In order to review the progress of various developmental schemes in the district, the District Developmental Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired the meeting of the concerned officers in his office chamber.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, REW Rajouri Division, District Panchayat Officer, Assistant Executive Engineer and concerned Block development officers.
The key points discussed during the meeting include latest status of bunkers, getting SECC ineligible deletion through PRIs, 100% generation of FTOs, SBM verification, handing over of movable assets to new sarpanch, handing over of panchayat ghars, registration of all panchayats, court cases etc.
While taking the review of bunker construction, the concerned officer informed that work on 1617 bunkers has been started out of 1892 including both individual and community bunkers. He further informed that construction work of 160 bunkers is complete and work on 232 more bunkers would be completed within few days.
The DDC took detailed stock of bunker construction blockwise. The DDC set the deadline of 30th June for completing the construction work on all the bunkers.
Regarding SEEC ineligible deletion through PRIs. ACD informed that the last Socio-economic census was held in 2011. He said that the professionals, employees and big land owners are to be deleted through PRIs. He also informed that the deadline of deletion is 10 June, 2019.
Regarding the generation of 100% FTOs, the DDC took stock of blockwise pendency in the district. It was informed that Darhal, Plunger, Thanamandi, Kalakote and Sunderbani have maximum pendency. He asked the BDOs to complete the work of 100% generation of FTOs as early as possible. He also made it clear no laxity will be tolerated in any manner.
Regarding SBM verification, the DDC took a review of the implementation of the scheme. The District Panchayat Officer informed that the second phase of verification is in progress and will be completed shortly.
While taking stock of panchayat related assignments the DDC asked the BDOs to ensure that the panchayats work properly and sarpanches should coordinate with the district administration in the execution of developmental works. He also directed the BDOs to ensure the presence of sarpanches and panches in Gram Sabhas.
