Remaining matches to be played under closed stadium due to Coronavirus threat
New Delhi, March 12 (HS): After the rising havoc of the Coronavirus, the remaining matches of the Road Safety World Series will take place in the closed stadium.
From March 13, not a single spectator will be able to watch these matches at DY Patil Stadium and the stadium will remain completely empty. This decision has been taken keeping in view the health care of all players and staff members.
The cases of Coronavirus are increasing rapidly in Maharashtra and in view of this, the Organizing Committee decided that the third leg of this competition will be played inside the closed doors from 14 to 20 March at the DY Patil Stadium. The remaining matches and final match will also be held inside the closed stadium.
In view of the increasing cases of Corona virus, the Indian government has suspended all the visas till April 15. The total corona virus cases in India have reached 73.
