PM urges Youth: Turn politics into a platform for your ideas!
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the youth on Sunday during the Bharat Yuva Neta Samvad 2025, organized at Bharat Mandapam to mark National Youth Day. He encouraged young Indians to join politics, calling it the best platform to turn ideas into action. Over 300 young leaders, selected from 30 lakh participants through a rigorous process, attended the event.
In his speech, the Prime Minister urged the youth to take charge of India’s future. “India won’t develop through words alone. We have 25 golden years ahead—our Amrit Kaal. Confident youth will drive the dream of a developed India,” he said.
Modi praised Swami Vivekananda’s vision, recalling his faith in young people. “Swami ji believed in the new generation. He said they would solve every problem. Just as he trusted you, I trust his words and your potential,” Modi emphasized.
The Prime Minister highlighted the meaning of a developed India. He described it as a nation strong in economics, strategy, society, and culture. This vision includes abundant opportunities for learning, earning, and creating the largest skilled workforce globally.
During the event, participants presented ideas on women empowerment, sports, startups, culture, and infrastructure. Modi praised their efforts, linking them to India’s economic growth. He noted that India is rapidly advancing toward a $5 trillion economy and aims to become a $10 trillion economy by the next decade.
PM Modi’s call to action resonated with the audience, inspiring them to take bold steps in politics and nation-building. “Let your ideas shape India’s future,” he concluded, urging the youth to embrace leadership roles and drive transformative change.
