Raipur: Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil has said that Modi government started the Swachhata Abhiyan in 2014 and did so much work on it that people have become widely aware about cleanliness. Union Minister CR Patil, who reached Raipur on Saturday morning, while talking to journalists said that Modi government has completed 10 years. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, who was present with the Union Minister, said that the initiative taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding cleanliness has today taken the form of a mass movement. Every person has become aware about cleanliness with public participation.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, General Secretary Sanjay Srivastava, BJP District President Jayanti Patel, Preetesh Gandhi welcomed him at Swami Vivekananda Airport. Union Minister Patil will be on a tour of Chhattisgarh today. He will participate in Swachhata Hi Seva program in Barga village of Rajnandgaon. After this, he will leave for Amlidih village, where he will inspect the plastic waste management unit and discuss with Swachhata Didi’s.
