We are not getting any information except from media,” She said, “Last we talk on Friday and he said I am going for operation duty and after that we don’t have any contact. He joined forces in March 2011. We have a five year old daughter. A local reporter from Chhattisgarh called me and asked me to share his picture and asked me to appeal for his rescue for Naxals. I don’t get any confirmation about his whereabouts. I called control room, but except assurance, we don’t have any communication.” She said, “He was posted here three months back and before that he was posted in Assam.” Vikrant Singh a relative of Manhas said, “Since yesterday we have got different kinds of news. I request government to kindly retune him back safely. We don’t want anything from government.” However, an official of CRPF said, “It’s true that a Jawan from Jammu is captured by Naxals, but exactly we don’t have any information. Senior officials would likely to visit the family today to extend all support in this difficult time.”
